And so our wild water madness contuinues, minus our noble leader and Hungarian friend Andris, but we were gaced with the presence of "Freestyle Bobby" and "Beer Brewin Doolo!!

After a very pleasent bus journey with the great celtic journeys, we moved off and headed for stackallen. Suprisingly Niamh and Lucinda got a bit nervous at the top........ and very wet at the bottom . Niamh had managed to make it the whole way down but then be-friended a tree. Niamh, we once again remind you that TREES ARE NOT YOUR FISH. Doolo managed to get through the first wave at stackallen but was beaten by the second and followed the two girls downstream!!

We'll be having an Assessments day on Saturday 20th December. Lv.2 and Lv. 3 Assessments will be carried out. They are a great way to improve in a fun way and to make sure your progressing in the best way possible. All Freshers can aim towards Lv. 2 while those of ye in the club a while can aim for Lv. 3s.

We're going to the Boyne this Sunday for WILD WATER MANIA 2! We'll be meeting at DCU at 10.00. Cost is €10pp with €5 refunded on the day. Let O'Reilly know if your coming, and also if your around to help with rescues, shuttles etc...

Minus the 2 emotional breakdowns, 5 swims, the loosing and finding of a set of paddles, and an injury to our noble leader "tripod", I don't really think our trip today could of gone any better!!!

Starting at lucan at a respectable 12:00ish we headed straight for the 1st weir. All the freshers and rescue, and our noble narrator went through it without a hitch. However the great "tripod" decided to impress the ladys with something other than his manhood by taking on the fishboxes!!!! Unfortunetly the fish boxes came out on top and the great one has fucked his shoulder to no end!!!!

Paddling on, our expedition hit its second obstacle, and our trips first, but not last, emotional breakdown!!!! Poor Niamh couldnt understand why on her first river trip and third time in a boat she wasnt an expert paddler!!!! however this problem was quickly overcame as we found our third obstacle standing in our, namely the second weir.

Friday 7th Nov.
Bang on canoe time we left DCU with a bus full of enthusiastic freshers looking forward to a great weekend. Fiona soon got the journey livened up by offering every one some Sex on Achill or was it Sex in Achill?? While the three merry men in tights, Sparky, Judgie and Peter ensured that none of our freshers were feeling lonely by providing special group sessions, Roisin swears it was the best group session she has ever had. Despite the countless pee breaks for the smaller bladders among us aka all the males on the bus we eventually arrived in Longford to stock up on food and a little bit of alcohol
