Well its the competitive time of year again! Yes the intervarsities are only a few weeks away and DCU Canoe Club is calling all troops to the front line! There are plenty of disciplines to get involved in form polo, to the lovely.......long distance this one involves all participants if possible! Then there is the Rodeo and Whitewater Race! All times and days are on this here forum already YE HAW!!
I encourage all levels of kayakers to take part as it all adds up to experience and it is being held in Galway it's always good craic!
And of course with all things involved with he club, there will be good times in the bar afterwords on the Friday and Saturday!
And what better way to spend Valentines then to be celebrating the mighty efforts of DCUCC, who's to say we wont be taking the cup home again!
And either way as Oscar Wilde said, "There are only two tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it."
So happy days!
