I know it's early yet, but we are looking at the possibility of having a club trip (this means that it could be possibly partially funded, maybe!) to the alps this year, all levels of paddler will be catered for.
So who would be interested in a trip that would go something like this.
June 8th (the day after the bank holiday) for one week advanced level trip, (possibly France, Italy or Austria) (Plenty of club members been to Italy and France who know what to expect)
than after one week move on to Slovenia where everyone else can paddle, (the soca is considered to be one of the best learning rivers around, with reliable water levels for most of the summer and good paddling for all levels)
People can come or go for all or part of the trip. If the club is in a position to give funding it will only be for the all-levels week. What is run on the "advanced" part will obviously depend on who comes, If you need to ask, probabaly look more towards the second week.
General idea would be to fly out and than to rent a van (makes it much easier for boats) plus an appropriate number of cars for the amount of people. Who would be interested in such a trip? any other ideas?
This would be a great holiday opportunity as well in one of the most scenic places on earth, with good food and cheap drink plus good weather, so even if you don't want to come paddling every day it would be a great break after exams/from work.

I'm not going to be able to go until mid-late June cause of college

thought that you were good from the 3rd week of June? set it for that week cause there were a few in the same boat. Dates are still provisional so we can be flexiable, although going that late is pushing it very fine for water in Italy, France or Switzerland (I think) Austria and Solvinai work till late June as far as I know.
