Weekend away, out west somewhere, location to be discussed, anywhere people would like to go that's suitable for a club trip, (ie must have surf and or grade 2/3 rivers that we can do)
Well galway would be an option with the beluisce working most of the time, and i did it when in first year with a massive fear of water so it would be perfect for everyone.
but i really wouldnt mind donegal either, but why not go further north, you have the owenkillew and the finn both around letterkenny and also possibly a cheeky run down ramelton weir if there was time.
i spent four long years there doing those rivers so know them pretty well if that was an option
We could look at Wales, its as easy to get to as the west cost, the Tryweryn is not all that far from Hollyhead, and they have recently made it free. I'm sure theres plenty of other rivers in the area too (http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/nwales/nwales.htm). Probabaly would be more paddling and less drinking than out west though.
Been changed to Lahinch due to logistical difficulties with Easky.
We're taking names now. Deposit is €15- give it to any committee member. The full cost will depend on how many people come along but it will be a maximum of €30 for the trip.

The Boluisce is dam release these days, it does run but you want to check with the locals first because it doesn't run all that much anymore
