A quick guide on how to add pictures to the Gallery from your computer\Facebook\Picasa

1. Go here http://dcucanoe.ie/gallery2/main.php
   This page can also be reached by clicking the link "Add Content To The Galley" on the Gallery page
2. Navigate to the album which will contain your pictures.
   Your current location is circled below.
3. If needs be create a new album.
   Fill in the fields
   • Name - Part of the albums url eg "achilll_trip_2011"
   • Title - The title of the url which will appear eg "Achill"
4. Click "Add Items" and then select one of the following
   • From Web Browser - If you want to upload you pictures directly from your computer (they can be all zipped into one file)
   • From Web Page - If you have pictures on Picasa\Facebook you can paste the URL to that album here

If you have alot of photos it is advised that you do one of the following

• Upload them to a site like Facebook or Picasa and then import them (recommended)

Or

• Compress a portion of the pictures into a zip file of size no more than 15 megabytes and then upload each zip file one at a time

In relation to Facebook, you can only import pictures form your albums or from a friend's.
If a restriction has been placed on an album such to deny a Facebook application access then those albums can not be imported unless the restriction is lifted.

Please don't use the gallery for uploading single images so that they can be used in forum posts, instead when creating a post click the option at the bottom labeled "Image picker"
